The question of the day is “Is Donald Trump guilty of Obstruction of Justice?”
There are enough people weighing in on that, and I’m not a lawyer, so I’ll pass. But what I will say is that EVERYONE should have known we would end up here – with a corrupt Trump defying any source of power that may hold him accountable or uncover his corruption… through ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
The article below, written by Kurt Eichenwald of Newsweek and published in October 2016, documents in great detail the 40+ year record of Trump doing EXACTLY what he is now being accused of doing (Obstructing Justice) and is actively doing through court filings to delay Congress. There is a staggering list of documented cases of destruction of evidence, frivolous lawsuits and even childish games of hiding from prosecutors so meetings would have to be rescheduled and delay eventual justice. It is a model that has served him well his entire life, and one he will practice with all the power granted to him until the power to do so is taken away from him.
We should have known we would end up here. Not enough of us did. Why? Well, many blame the media for not reporting about it, but here is an example of the media doing exactly that. We all have to be better. The time is now. Before it’s too late.
